ITINERARY:
Day 1: Manila / Frankfurt (-)
Day 2: Frankfurt - Prague
Welcome to Europe! Arrive in Frankfurt in the morning and proceed to explore Römerberg, the historic old town, alongsidethe city's impressive skyscrapers. After enjoying some free time, we will reach the Czech border in the early afternoon and arrive in Prague by dusk. Often referred to as Zlatá Praha, or Golden Prague, this capital city of the Czech Republic is a stunning embodiment of Old World charm.
Day 3: Prague - Bratislava
Your adventure in Prague commences with a remarkable walk along the coronation path of the ancient Bohemian kings and queens. Crossing the Charles Bridge, we will enter the old quarter to admire the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square. After lunch in the square, our coach will take us on a scenic transfer to our hotel in or near the Slovakian capital, Bratislava.
Day 4: Bratislava - Budapest
Following breakfast, we will stop for a photo opportunity at Bratislava Castle before departing for Budapest, the capital of Hungary. We will visit key attractions for additional photo opportunities, including Heroes' Square, the Hungarian Parliament Building, Elisabeth Bridge, Fisherman's Bastion, and Matthias Church. For those interested, an optional scenic Danube River cruise is available for €30.
Day 5: Budapest - Vienna
Today's itinerary focuses on Vienna, the capital of Austria. We will visit Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Imperial family and favored home of Empress Maria Theresa; the Austrian Parliament Building; the renowned Vienna State Opera; and Hofburg Palace. After a leisurely stroll, you will have some free time to explore.
Day 6: Vienna - Salzburg - Munich
After breakfast, we will journey to Salzburg to visit the von Trapp house from The Sound of Music. We will then continue to Munich, where we will explore Marienplatz, a central city square, and the New Town Hall, followed by free time before heading to our accommodation in Munich or a nearby city.
Day 7: Munich - Mt. Titlis - Lucerne
After breakfast, we will travel through the mountain roads into Switzerland, gradually ascending to the breathtaking snow-capped Alps. An optional gondola ride will take you 45 minutes up to Mount Titlis, at 10,623 feet above sea level, where you can explore a glacier cave and walk across the Titlis Cliff Walk, Europe's highest suspension bridge. Afterwards, we will visit picturesque Lucerne to see the Lion Monument and explore the charming alleyways in search of the perfect souvenir, including Swiss watches. Overnight accommodations will be in Lucerne or a neighboring city.
Day 8: Lucerne - Milan - Venice
Following breakfast, we will head south to Milan. During our city tour, you will see Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the oldest shopping arcade in the world; La Scala; and the impressive Gothic Milan Cathedral. We will then proceed to Venice, a citycharacterized by over 150 canals and more than 400 bridges. Overnight accommodations will be in Venice or a nearby city.
Day 9: Venice - Rome
After breakfast, we will explore San Marco Square, where you can admire the Basilica di San Marco and the Bridge of Sighs, which connects the old prison to the interrogation rooms in Doge's Palace. Following this, you will have the opportunity to witness traditional Venetian craftsmanship with a demonstration by Murano glassblowers. An optional gondola ride along the Grand Canal will perfectly cap off your day in Venice. Evening accommodations will be in Rome or a neighboring city.
Day 10: Rome - Vatican City - Arezzo
Your day in Rome begins with a visit to Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, located at the heart of the Italian capital. Here, you will marvel at St. Peter's Basilica, with an optional tour of the Sistine Chapel to view Michelangelo'srenowned painted ceiling. Next, we will explore iconic sights in Rome, including the Colosseum, before departing for Florence in the afternoon.
Day 11: Florence - Pisa - Savona
This day will introduce you to the captivating sights and sounds of Florence. Our final stop will be Pisa, where you will have free time to explore the Square of Miracles and capture photographs of the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. Overnight in Savona or nearby city
Day 12: Savona - Monaco - Nice - Grasse or Cannes - Lyon
Our tour will lead us to the Prince's Palace of Monaco, the Courthouse, the Oceanographic Museum, and Saint NicholasCathedral, the final resting place of Grace Kelly. Next, we will visit Nice to sample the delightful local cuisine. We will also stop in Cannes to see the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès or visit a perfume factory in Grasse before making our way to Lyon for overnight accommodations.
Day 13: Paris
A scenic tour ride will take us to Paris, where we will embark on a city tour, visiting the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées,Louvre Museum, Champ de Mars-Eiffel Tower, and enjoying a Seine River cruise. We will then proceed to our hotel for an overnight stay in Paris.
Day 14: Paris
After checkout, we will visit the magnificent Palace of Versailles and explore the artistic district of Montmartre before heading to the airport for your departure.
Day 15: Home Sweet Home - Manila
